Previous Employment Requirements:* Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted – MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered

Required Skills/Experience: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Kidney transplant experience required

Scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, Urology, organ procurement, trauma

Types of Patients on Unit: The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants

Unit/Facility Details: OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery

Special Requests: All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission

RTO must be approved

Shift & Scheduling: Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)

Shift could be either 3-12s or 2-12 hour shifts and 2-8 hour shifts/week (0700-1530/0700-1930) with possible evening coverage (eves would be 11a-11:30p)

1st week – 3-12hr shifts 7a-730p for orientation (M, T, W)

2 weekends/month – either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts

Day shift w/possible evening rotations

30 min on call response time

Short call shift once or twice a week 3a-7a; 11:30p -3a

Holidays eligible to work: any while on contract

Schedule 4 weeks out for compliance

Floating Requirements: Primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR
