Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

Additional Details:

No block scheduling

There are only 2 nurses on the shift together with one nurse on call if needed.

Weekends Required: 2-4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule

On Call Requirement: Yes

On Call Requirement Details: 2 to 3 shifts per 4 week schedule

Holiday Requirements (if any): Yes

Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.

The nurses need to be level 1 trauma PACU or ICU experienced.
