Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of RN First Assist experience is required from last 4 years.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Will need to be available to float between Mercy Hospital Downtown and Mercy Southwest - first to float
Common Cases:
- Ortho: totals-knees, hips, shoulders; knee and shoulder scopes, TSAs (a lot)
- Urology-don't do many nephrectomies but everything else from cystos, ESWLs, TURPS, penile prothesis, orchiectomies, open prostates (not required)
- GYN-lots of hysters, D&C, slings, robotic hysters, a lot of GYN oncology, salphingooophrectomy
- Neuro- a lot of ortho spine, brain tumors, cranis, subdural hematomas, transsphenoidal tumors, VP shunts; hands, podiatry, DaVinci, vascular-a lot of small stuff AV fistulas, thrombectomies, carotids, endarterectomies, fem pops-open
- General surgery-open, lap, robotics; ENT-tonsils, adenoids, pediatrics ENT, bariatrics, and eyes
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Ortho, robotics (deal breaker if they do not have experience), neuro, gyn (SW) experience.
