Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to independently manage ante partum and laboring patients. Also required 2 years Labor and Delivery experience with the ability to also do couplet care. Will float between these units. Bonus if they know post-partum.

Required Credentials:

Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend, and depending on need could be Every other weekend.
