Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Start Date: 7/28, 8/11

Must register for C-EFM during the compliance phrase or within the first two weeks of the assignment

36hr Contract Call Required: 24hrs Over A 6 Week Period.

48hr Contract: No Call

Orientation Hours: 36

The traveler is required to be on premises 45 minutes after they receive call.

Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend/holiday as needed

Float Required,: Required to Float to like units (i.e. Mom/Baby),travelers are required to float before permanent staff We cannot guarantee a set schedule

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults

Skills Required: Circulate, FHM, preceptor and/or charge

Triage Experience Preferred

High risk L&D experience

Scrubs are provided

Please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract - highly preferred. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
