Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Utah license or compact license

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Woman's Services (L&D, PP, MB)

Patient Ratios : up to 2:1 for LD, or up to 4:1 Mom/baby couplets, 1:1 SCN

Documentation system: CPN

Rotating weekends

On Call Expectations: potential need.

Weekend Requirement: every other weekend, rotating

Floating policy: LDRP unit - LD, Mom/baby, well baby, and SCN level 2.

Must have: Labor and Delivery and SCN level 2 experience, LDRP experience preferred. RN circulator for C-sections. Rural hospital setting, both candidates need to have experience in both areas if possible. We have very few SCN level 2 newborns admissions; RN’s have to be able to cover those shifts when they arise.

Must have CPN experience required

Advanced skills needed: UVC maintenance, neonatal IV, neonatal ABX, neonatal NG tube Feedings, PPV, bubble CPAP, oxygen weaning.

Scrubs provided by facility, Bare below the Elbows in Nursery, No jewelry, no artificial nails or any type of polish. Tattoos covered except in nursey.
