Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Endoscopy experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening shift 0630 to 1500 or 0800 to 1630 variable. Oncall: YES

Required Skills/Experience: Will take OR nurse who has Endoscopy Training/ experience or sole focus on Endoscopy.

  1. Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychological and cognitive status of patients. Diagnosis ** 2. Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses. Outcome Identification ** 3 Identifies appropriate expected outcomes individualized to the patient. Planning ** 4. Formulates a goal directed plan of care, which is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. ** 5. Identifies patient/significant other learning needs and implements appropriate measures to meet these. Implementation ** 6. Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner. ** 7. Performs documentation duties on unit and in patient record, which is timely, accurate and concise. Evaluation ** 8. Evaluates effectiveness of self, care given by all health care team members, and contribution of systems, environment, and instrumentation in progressing patient toward outcomes PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE Quality of Care ** 9. Functions with an awareness and application of safety issues as identified within the institution. ** 10.
