Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license

Certifications

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float to M/S and PCU for an assignment. May float to ER to task or take hold patients

Required Skills/Experience: Critical Care experience.

Advanced skills needed: Experience with vents, arterial lines, titration drips, post craniotomy care, post cath lab patients.

Unit Details: 16 beds.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Central line placement, art line placement, chest tubes, intubation

Equipment Used on Unit: Phillips central monitoring
