Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 4 years.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.

Required Credentials: Prior to acceptance, the Dys exam is required and must be completed within 24-48 hrs. It’s pass or fail and they get 2 attempts (test a should be assigned first, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required. We can accept the Relias Dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has previously taken.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and Holidays rotate in with core staff.

Floating Requirements: All other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen - first to float.
