Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Recent ER experience. Community Hospital Experience. Skills: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Level II Trauma Center, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Starting and maintaining IVs, IV vasopressors, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Triage.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Level I Trauma Center.

Required Credentials: Level 1 or level 2 trauma experience required. Must have 2 supervisory clinical references at time of submission or they will be redirected. Charge RN references are acceptable. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12's Preferred, but will consider 3x12's.
