Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 30 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Required Credentials: No Arrhythmia Test Required

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with cooling, ventilators, JET, Oscillators

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating Days/Nights - will not work split shifts in same week 1-2 call shifts per 6 weeks possible

Unit Details: 21 Beds

Equipment Used on Unit: Medfusion pumps, PICC lines started by trained RNs, Umbilical lines, Intubation by trained transport nurses, Body cooling, Giraffe Shuttle which attaches to our Incubator to keep it warm and run a ventilator. Ventilators (JET, Oscillators)

Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing.
