Primary Stroke Center
3+ years of inpatient practice experience.
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, if experienced.
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Operations Pharmacist role – Will be the main pharmacist for the hospital. Will not have to respond to emergencies or ER Remote coverage of orders at Baptist Prattville overnight as well
Pharm-D preferred
Skills required: Must be a strong pharmacist, comfortable working independently, triaging, team player; will work closely with pharm techs Baseline pharmacology knowledge, able to do clinical calculations, order verification, product checking, new medications, answer phone calls, lots of questions from medical residents to answer, Vanc dosing, ECMO, anticoagulation Will dispense critical care drips that are ordered (can teach NICU if needed)
NICU experience preferred
Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other as a part of the 7 on/7 off schedule (9:30pm – 8 am)
On call? No
Holiday Expectations: If it’s on the 7 on, they’ll work it
RTO: Swap with partner and approved by Manager
Will work Monday – Sunday, 7 on/7 off

Scrub Color: Any color scrubs, solid colors
Parking: Parking garage, free parking
No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Labor Day weekend: 8/30 - 9/2 Halloween Weekend: 10/30 - 11/3 Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30
