Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience within the past 12 months.

ADN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

CNOR (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: TCH requires any clinician that is or were perm staff to wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position. Please note this timeline may vary slightly because this timeline is based on the units discretion.

Required Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or Associate’s degree or technical diploma in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred.
