Required Skills/Experience:

• Greater than 1 year of experience required

• 3 years of Cardiac ICU experience

• Cardio thoracic ICU experience and/or critical care experience

• Must have experience and be proficient with swan-ganz monitoring

• Previous Charge Experience

Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, IV insulin protocols.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Post Craniotomy.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, No call required

Floating Requirements: ICU and PCU
