Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Call Requirements: Yes

Weekends: possibly, based on need

Must have General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience, Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year. If candidate is for CVOR they MUST have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement).

Trauma experience and Vascular surgery exp. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery preferred.
