Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Ambulatory Surgery Center experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Same Day Surgery - Required

Day / Eve Shifts, plus call

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Must start 07/28 or 08/04 only

Providing patient care for Same Day surgical cases

Surgical Cases include the following specialties potentially including pediatric populations: Orthopedic, endoscopy, Gynecologic, ENT, dental

Some overtime may be required.

No call.

No weekends.

Patient Ratio: Dependent on patient acuity

Required:

1-2 years experience

Ability to place IV, place orders, patient assessments, medication administration

Dress Code: Appearance is clean and neat, may wear own scrubs

Orientation: Department safety check off, RELIAS trainings as per hospital, orientation is on-the job
