Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications/Emergency Medications, Antiarrhythmics, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Use of Broselow system, Respiratory, Assist/maintain chest tube, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Cardiovascular, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post cardiac surgery, Work Settings, Pediatric CVICU
