Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

Required Skills/Experience: 3 years ICU experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Patients cared for on this unit are primarily those with medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA and others.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 32 (20 Medical 12 Neuro ICU). This 20 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit in a tertiary care and teaching institute.

Special Requests: Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): Every other weekend required • Call Requirements: no

Floating Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience. Floating to any IMC at the organization, patient ratios 1:3 in IMC.
