Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

Unit specializes in Neuro-Crani patients, spine/ortho and GS

Shift and scheduling : Every other weekend. Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract is variable but likely once per month.

Patient Age Groups:Adults, Geriatrics

Skills/ Experiences required : Previous Charge Experience.

Skills/ Experiences preferred : Prior Teaching Hospital Experience. Scrubbing, Strong general surgery skills, abdominal transplant.

Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discuss at time of submission, and time of offer.

Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit.

Patient Diagnoses: Liver failure, kidney failure, Obesity, Ovarian torsion or unwanted pregnancy, Urology issues, Brain aneurysm, Spine issues.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Liver transplant, kidney transplant, bariatric procedures, emergency GYN only, Cystos, stent placements, stone removals, Clipping, Fusions
