Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Outpatient Wound Care RN

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Areas to cover: Outpatient

Required Skills/Experience:

Wound care experience with cleaning wounds, dressing removal, wound vacs, new pt. consults, skin subs, and complicated dressing changes.
Wounddocs or Wound Expert EMR.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Bilingual

Required Credentials: Stoma placement

Preferred Credentials: Any wound care certification is preferred - if no wound care cert, then need to ensure that the nurse has extensive wound care background as well as experience staging wounds.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patients requiring wound care, wound vacs, consults, complicated dressing changes.
