Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Skills/Experience: Respiratory/Thoracic, Care of Ventilated Patient, Ventilator Management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring.

Required Credentials:

• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Special Requests: Must have a vehicle for this assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, sometimes more.

Floating Requirements:

• May be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S. Facilities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
• If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
