Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: RNs required to titrate drips

RNs need to be able to read and interpret Tele strips

Required Credentials: RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Manager will make schedule based on unit needs

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU
