Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

MST / Pediatrics

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience working with children is required. Must take are of adults as well.
• RNs do need to be able to read their Tele strips.

Required Credentials:

• Must take and pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract.
• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit and facility details: Ratios: Pediatrics 1:3-4, MST 1:5.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday for dayshift.
• Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly.

Floating Requirements: Float into our MCU or MST unit to care for adult MST, also Cross train and float to the birthing unit to care for mom-baby Couplets. Would not go to west campus. IF they have experience in Labor and delivery, they can float there as well.
