Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends and holidays.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.

Holiday Requirements: Yes, Rotating every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Travelers float first. Being a higher level of care, our nurses can float to any unit in the hospital including intermediate & general floors. INT is a 1:3 ratio, on a general floor they would take 1:4.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills & Experience: Ventriculostomy, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Ventilators, Arterial lines, Central lines, tPA, Acute stroke management, post craniectomy. RNs required to titrate drips. This is an ICU so we will take any drips that the physician orders, they are not set rates all the time, but some may be- we follow the physicians orders; Too many different drips to name. RNs required to read their own strips.
