Required Skills/Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

• Patient experience oriented, with strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions

• 2-3 years’ experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: At least 1 year experience in an outpatient clinic.

Preferred Credentials: Doctorate preferred

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Orthopedic: all ages including collegiate athletes, vestibular, neurological, generalized weakness

Types of Patients on Unit: Child, Students, Adult and Geriatric

Equipment Used on Unit: Private treatment rooms, all standard gym equipment including cardio and weights

Technology Used on Unit: WebPT

Unit/Facility Details:

• 36 bed hospital

• Patient ratio: 9-12 patients per day (45 min treatments, 1 ¼ hour evaluations)

• Busy Outpatient Clinic with a large population of Collegiate athletes.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend
