Travel Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Wound / Ostomy Care

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Schedule will be a mix of 8s or 10s

Will take urgent care, ER, ICU, or MedSurg, as long as proficient with wound care skills below

Skills Required: Wound vacs, cast cutting, compression garments and wraps, measuring/photographing/documenting wounds, patient education, limited topical medication application (will not dispense meds)let’s remove cast cutting, I discussed with our other wound leaders and decided this isn’t’ necessary

Floating:

Inpatient (would be partnered with a staff member) or 3 other outpatient Wound Care Clinics:

• Capital: 3920 Capital Mall Dr SW, Olympia, WA, 98502
• Good Sam: 400 15th Ave SE, Suite B, Puyallup, WA, 98372
• Tacoma: inside TG, Commencement wing, level 4

Patient Types / Diagnosis: Outpatient adults, minimal peds (peds experience not required); diabetic leg/foot wounds, vascular wounds, pressure injuries, post-surgical wounds; no ostomies

Vehicle and proof of auto insurance - Required

No weekend; clinic is closed

On-Call: No

Holiday expectations: Closed

Shift start times: 0700 or 0800

Dress Code: Scrubs - Any solid color
