Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Must have CVOR RN exp

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy, HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, MitraClip

Equipment Used on Unit: Type of equipment – Surgical instruments, bovie cautery, EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower, surgical tourniquet, IABP console, Impella console, cryo system, patient warming/cooling system

Shift & Scheduling: On call 1 week night per week and one weekend every 6 weeks

Weekends: Weekends are on call rotation

Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.
