Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Every other
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Dependent on facility/job requisition Home Health Call: every other week - Business hours are 0800-1730, call hours are 1730-0800 and weekends/holidays. Spearfish: 1am-6am – 3 days per week Will any other facilities have call requirements? Generally not unless it’s planned for events like the Rally at Rapid City Hospital. At Spearfish and Sturgis hospitals, we have call, so yes if we had needs there.
Holiday Expectations: Work on holidays that fall within contract dates
Special Requests: Approval of time off? up to 7 days, must extend contract if taking a full week off.
Floating Requirements: RT Coverage throughout hospital and ED Will not float to other facilities, unless hired for that specifically
Equipment Used on Unit: Ventilators: Draeger V500 and Savina 300, 3100A Oscillator, Servo-I MRI, Hamilton C1 ResMed APAP, CPAP, Bi-level Airvo2 High flow devices, Cough Assist, Incourage vest, ABL90 Blood gas machines, IPV, Praxair iNO
Required Skills/Experience:
Critical Care, General respiratory care experience
Required Credentials:
RRT required, manager will consider CRT based on experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon manager review with strong experience
Types of Patients on Unit:
Highly Progressive/Acute Respiratory Care - Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care
Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if the requisition calls for that – NRP cert required
