Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

No Block Scheduling.

Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience / will accept a M/S or Stepdown RN - same credentialing for both skills

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Driver's License/State ID req for sub

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler's skills

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: No Oncall / EOH

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: will need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
