Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RNs only: Cannot have a license that is on probation, suspended, or has board proceedings that are pending.

Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately

Orientation dates: 7/29 or 8/12

Shift : 12 hour days 0900–2130 (may start at 0800 or 1000 as well)

Call : Will take call (2 NOC calls and 1 weekend day call to cover every 6 weeks)

Hours : 36 hours per week

Must have peds exp

Preferred: CPAN

Dress Code:

Scrubs/Color: Any color. No denim. Professional appearance.

Shoes: Non-skid, closed toe. Athletic shoes OK. Must wear heel strap with clogs.

Jewelry: Professional, minimal. No facial piercings other than ears.

Hair/Beard: Professional. Hair shoulder length or longer must be pulled back. Facial hair must be neat and trimmed.

Nail Polish: No gels, acrylics, or extensions. All polish must be in good condition without chips or cracks.

Scheduling Details:

Call back: From Friday night to Sunday night (not Monday morning)

Call Frequency: Assigned 2–4 times per 4-week period

Shift Hours: As posted with position

Call Shifts:

Weekend Days: 09:00/10:00–17:30/18:30

Weeknights/Weekend Nights: 23:00–07:30

Weekend Requirements: On-call as needed

Holiday Requirements: On-call as needed

Patient Population Diagnoses: General surgery covering all specialties (except open heart) including pediatrics
