Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

Required Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience: Required -Cardiac Exp required -Ability to Scrub & Circulate Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures Strong general surgery & abdominal transplant skills required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Unit Details: Unit specializes in Neuro-Crani, Spine/Ortho, GS/GU, GYN, Transplant, Vascular, Thoracic and Robotic services.

Floating Requirements: Candidate must be willing and able to float to other UCSF facilities.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: Liver failure kidney failure Obesity Ovarian torsion or unwanted pregnancy Urology issues Brain aneurysm Spine issues Special Procedures/Unit Details: Liver transplant kidney transplant bariatric procedures emergency GYN only Cystos, stent placements, stone removals Clipping Fusions

Equipment Used on Unit: Davinci Xi Robot

Special Requests: Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit
