Travel Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Unit

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed hours: 36

Required skills and minimum years of experience: At least one year dialysis experience.

Shift or schedule requirements: Saturday work required, no call hours. Employee may perform 1:1 treatments outside the dialysis unit but there will be other employees available.

Floating to other units/departments: Some off unit hemodialysis treatments may be assigned.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. HDU is a 9 bed treatment area. There will be a charge nurse, a RN, and 4-5 technicians on unit from 0700-1700 daily.

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
This is a new program and there will be training for the modalities of hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic apheresis with new and experienced personnel. Training will be tailored to the persons current level of competency.
