Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

- Required Skills CVOR, Hybrid OR, Transplant, Vascular, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortocaval fistula repair, Aortoenteric fistula repair, Arteriovenous malformation surgery, Atherectomy, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Cardiovascular, Atherectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral Cannulation, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Thoracic, Lobe resection, Thoracotomy, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), Mediastinoscopy, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Administration of blood & blood products, Cardiac Monitoring, Conscious Sedation monitoring, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Starting Peripheral IV’s, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound Management.
Preferred Skills/Experience: General OR*, Organ donation*, Vein stripping*.
Special Requests:
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- 7-10 days of RTO can typically be accommodated as long as time is made up at the end of contract. RTO required with submission, expect to work some holidays.
- Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request
Shift & Scheduling:
- Call required, after 2:30pm, weekends and holiday
- Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred.
- Weekend Coverage: Every Other
- Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: varies on staffing
