Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Community Hospital Experience required

Must have experience in LDRP

On-call required. Yes, LC placed on call

Weekends required: Yes, weekends necessary

Special requirements: Labor and delivery, Postpartum or NICU

Scrub Color: Any Color; Surgical Services/SPT: Provided

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults

Daily Census: 10

Patient Diagnoses: LDRP with level 2 NICU

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Labor, Postpartum, Antepartum, Nursery

We are an LDRP, nurse must have postpartum and labor experience

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
