Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Required skills and experience: The PT traveler would need experience evaluating and treating patients in acute care pediatrics and pediatric intensive care at a minimum. Work Settings, Acute Care, Pediatrics, PICU, Assessment, Adaptive Devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Arousal and Attention, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Identifying Environmental Barriers, Pain assessment, Sensory response, Skin integrity, Strength testing, Vital Sign monitoring, Pediatrics, Developmental delays, Individualized programs, Milestone assessment, Documentation, Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long Term Goals, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Time Management, Equipment and Devices, Crutches, Gait belt, Rolling Walker, Standard Walker, Wheelchair Assessment, Cardiopulmonary/Circulatory, Neurologic, Billing, Commercial, Medicaid, Private Pay, Modalities, Orthopedics, Gait training, Professional Skills and Knowledge, Home Exercise Program, Patient family education, Specialty/Patient Population, Pediatrics.

Preferred skills and experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. NICU, Adaptive Equipment, Cerebral Palsy, Orthotics, Spina bifida, Torticollis, Bed alarms, Call lights, Hospital beds/Specialty Beds, Hoyer lift, Sliding boards, Soft/Hard collars, Specialty beds (air mattresses), Supplemental oxygen delivery, Breathing Techniques, Cystic fibrosis, Cognitive disorders, Concussion, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, E-stim, TENS, Hip fractures/injuries, Knee injuries/tendinopathy, Post op spinal surgery, Safety and injury prevention.

Required credentials: Drivers License/State ID . Government issued photo ID..

Shift & schedule requirements: Must work 50% of holidays during contract.

Floating requirements: Floating is mandatory – all travelers must float, including as Patient Observers (Sitters).

Special request requirements: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
