Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

SSSU/PACU - Required

Required Skills / Experience: Pre/post-surgical and infusion if possible

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Shift & Schedule: Holiday Coverage: No

No Call

Floating Requirement: Nursing care duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area which includes: Day surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures.
