Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Oncology Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: xperience with IV chemotherapy & Immunotherapy regimens and administration – hanging / handling precautions (PPE) for chemotherapy, along with monitoring for side effects of medication.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience giving IV Chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications.

Required Credentials: ONS/ONCC.

Shift & Scheduling: With weekend and holiday rotation. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: raveler RNs will be added to our float rotation with all of the other RNs. A floating episode can consist of a 4 hour or greater period of time. When determining whose turn it is to float, it will be the RN whose float is the furthest away from the past. Any other Gen Med level of care.
