Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Med/Surg (Neuro,Ortho,Peds)

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: 3 weekends every 6 weeks

Every other weekend

Float Requirements: Yes to inpatient units

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: All ages over 28 days

Must Have Skills/Experience: 2+ Adults

Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ Pediatrics

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Trauma and Post of Ortho/Neuro, General Pediatric Unit (0-3 rooms on average)

Required Education: ADN

Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue
