Requirements
Experience
24 months of acute care experience within the past 3 years.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 3 years.
Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

BLS (Required)
Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, MS/Tele, Telemetry

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Med/Surg, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Surgical drains

Required Credentials: Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend Friday - Sunday. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off).
