Travel Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Additional Details:

Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.

Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.

Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.

Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day). Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

Procedural RN, Procedure call required; 1 hour response time to the bedside from the time of call.

Experience with bronchs and ERCP required.

Ability to assist endoscopy technician strongly preferred. Conscious Sedation experience required, and Telemetry exp required

Will float between CH and GSH facilities on occasion, including PACU

Call burden is split equally among available staff members. There is not a set number. Procedure nurses take weekend and weekday call. Call includes off hours (after hours, weekends, and holidays). Call response time is 1 hour (arrive to the bedside and ready to perform the procedure within 1 hour.

Will be required to work some weekends and holidays based on department needs.

Note: hands on exp, assisting the provider and the technician

No RTO from 11/15-1/2.

Block Schedules: No

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 25-30

Please CONDITIONAL PASS if RN does not have scrub experience and its unknown if they have hands on experience assisting the tech/provider during the case. Position requires exp outside of typical circulate only duties.

License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits.

Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler
