Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hr day/night variables // Every other weekend // Every other holiday

Floating Requirements: will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units- possible float to other critical care units

Preferred Skills/Experience: Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro

Unit Details: 8 bed Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus . Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: ain procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation). Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients

Required Credentials: AACN certification
