Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.

Perinatal RN Residency, or recently practicing in a Perinatal Setting is preferred.

Certifications: Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or one of the following AWHONN courses: Intermediate FHM, Intermediate Instructor FHM, Advanced Instructor FHM, or Instructor Trainer within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses; within 60 days of hire for new graduates and experienced nurses new to the specialty then required to maintain certification thereafter.
