Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

ACLS (Required)

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to care for post-op open heart patients

Experience with Impella and IABP is required

Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Special Requests: May request up to 1 week of RTO

Shift & Scheduling: Must be available to work every other weekend

Must be available for at least one holiday
