Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Neuroscience- Neurology/Neurosurgical/Telemetry. Designated stroke unit- Thrombectomy Capable JCAHO designation, Spine Center of Excellence- JCAHO designation, NAEC- Level 3 Epilepsy Center.
Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: No Fee. Number of Beds: 64.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Are block schedules required: No.
Shift & Scheduling: Is on-call required: No. Are weekends required: Yes every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
