Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.
Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.

Required Credentials: RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test. Education - Required: Associated degree in nursing. TNCC - secure on site.

Unit/Facility Details: Our Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center as well as a Level II Stroke Center. Our Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with our critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

Floating Requirements: The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
