Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License

Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

High risk cardiology floor, managing cardiac drips, TAVR and post CABG /VATS patients. Required to do bedside shift report every shift and cover all aspects, perform hourly rounding on all patients assigned.

No on call

Must have strong cardiac

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? All inpatient units @ both campuses

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

  • Patient Diagnoses:
  • Cardiac Tele - on the unit
  • High risk cardiology
  • Required: post op open heart, sheath pull, new tracheostomy
  • mixed medical with underlying heart

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Travelers who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do NOT hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
