Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 18 months Med/Tele; General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flex seals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps.

Required Credentials: ASN/BSN.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 36 or 48 hours are available.
• Weekend rotation: every other.
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

Floating Requirements: All units within scope and below; Within region and scope of practice. Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice - Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises. If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock).
