Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Palliative Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience 2 yrs MS experience

Med/Surg skill set required,

Preferred Skills/Experience: Minimum Experience: 1 Year Inpatient Palliative Care

Experience in Palliative Care/Hospice would be helpful

Unit/Facility Details: 10 bed unit

Primary Cases: Palliative, Comfort/Hospice, Med/Surg

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Floating Requirements: To other Central region locations if needed.
