References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted.
Previous Employment Requirements:
-Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
-Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
Required Skills/Experience: IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) experience
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
-Postpartum patients: Vaginal Delivery, C/S Delivery
-Postpartum readmits: Wound infection, Preeclampsia
-Healthy Newborns
-NAS infants
Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adults
Unit/Facility Details: This is a 40 bed inpatient postpartum unit that provides Family-Centered care to women and infants.
Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Shift & Scheduling:
-Day/Night Rotating
-Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: MSC (antepartum-team nursing) - will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed
