Required Skills/Experience:

• Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.
• Post Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in either Post Acute Facility or acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.
• Physical assessment.
• Medication administration.
• Wound care & Infection control
• IV therapy.
• Post-operative care.
• Patient education.
• Telemetry monitoring.
• Two (2) years of previous acute care experience in MedSurg, Maternal and Child Care, Critical Care, Pediatrics.
• Current Adult Care home health experience.

Required Credentials: Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission.

Special Requests: All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval).

Shift & Scheduling: Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).

Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility).
